After several years in real estate and earning my brokers license in 2009, I noticed that a large percentage of brokerages passed along various aspects of the purchase/sales process to different people or other companies altogether in an attempt to be more efficient. Sometimes this worked well. And sometimes... not so much, as it could be like playing a game of telephone (those of you from my generation or before know what that is!) Additionally, I found that many home buyers and sellers preferred to work exclusively with one agent or Realtor and their expectation was that their agent or Realtor would personally handle all of the details in their transaction. For those who preferred a more all inclusive, personal, hands on approach, the options were dwindling. I saw a need that I was perfectly suited to fulfil and so it was with this customer base in mind that I created Porch Light Realty.
